Q: Why are you on the road and how often do you travel?
A: Lately my travel is about once a month. As The Shift Your Life Coach, www.shiftyourlifecoach.com I travel mostly for business to speak and promote my coaching services. However, I have vowed to myself this year will include more “just for fun” travel as well.
Q: Where else do you like to visit and do you use any travel websites to help you?
A: My favorite places to visit are where there is a beach near by. The beach recharges me. I am in heaven lying on the beach with a book, even if I can just stop by for an hour.
I use Kayak.com because I like that I can see all the different fares and options at one time. Then often I will check a few other sites, like southwest.com.
Q: What are some of your travel challenges you would like to reduce?
A: The only challenge I would like to reduce is having a better understanding of getting from the airport to my destination. Often I will search to see about shuttles. It would be great if there was a kayak type site where you could put in the airport and where you needed to go. Then it would pull all the transportation options and prices for you, and give you contact info.
Q: What are some Pearls of Travel Wisdom you would like to share with other women travelers?
A: My biggest Pearl of Travel Wisdom is to travel with intention. I create my travel experience like I create my life. Before I leave, I stop, take a deep breath and then set the intention of how I would like to my travel to go. For example, before I head down the stairs to security at Denver International Airport (DIA) I always stop for a second and set the intention that it is smooth sailing through the security line. I haven’t had a hang up in years. I also like to set the intention for a comfortable ride. I like to manifest the empty seats next to me if there is any. Whatever it is you want to have happen throughout your travel, set your intentions!
