Skip the brightly colored nail polish when traveling. It chips too easily and leaves your hands looking unfinished. Instead, buff and polish nails to a natural glow for a clean look, or apply a neutral, sheer color that won’t call attention if it does chip.
I’m on a month-long trip and all I have is a sheer pink color that can be reapplied easily.
Of course a manicure or pedicure is always a great option if you have time in your travels and can find a nail salon or spa.
